ANNE-MARIE NEWHAM

Anne-Marie Newham is a Registered Psychologist and an accredited Mental Health Social Worker who has been supporting people at risk in public and private mental health, EAP, community, and educational settings for over 30 years.
Anne-Marie’s experience includes working with victims of serious indictable crimes in terms of debriefing, along with trauma counselling; and she has delivered training around trauma responses to police and other organisations. Anne-Marie is experienced in the treatment of a wide variety of clinical presentations including anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, grief, life-cycle transitions and relationship difficulties.
BERNADETTE ELLIS
Bachelor of Applied Science

Bernadette Ellis is a Registered Psychologist with extensive experience in trauma response, debriefing and crisis counselling. Bernadette has worked in Defence counselling, immigration centres supporting both detainees and staff, along with staff advising for large organisations including universities. More recently she has focussed on working with children, adolescents and families. She has delivered support in a range of crisis situations and has been integral in supporting all layers of organisational need. Bernadette has excellent risk assessment skills and is expert in liaising with all stakeholders to ensure safety where there is complex risk.
GINA PALEOLOGO
Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Social Work
Gina Paleologo is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker and trauma specialist. For 12 years she was a counsellor at Forensic Medicine, providing a grief and trauma counselling service to those affected by a sudden death. During her time at Forensic Medicine, Gina was involved in providing counselling and mental health support for several state disasters. Gina was widely respected for her work in this setting. Since that time, she has worked in an EAP and was seconded to the Australian Federal Police in Sydney. Recently Gina has been working with young people and family systems and has excellent skills in providing counselling for all life stages.
CATHY NEASMITH
Bachelor of Business, Graduate Diploma of Education, Diploma of Positive Psychology, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Cathy Neasmith has dedicated over a decade to career mentoring and has coached more than
1,000 clients from ASX listed to
not-for-profit organisations, assisting organisations and individuals with career transition, leadership, career development, and onboarding into new roles. With qualifications in positive psychology and using evidence-based assessment tools such as the Morrisby and Birkman and MSCEIT (emotional intelligence) assessments, her aim is to promote wellbeing, along with successful livelihoods and lives. Cathy is experienced in supporting people both individually, along with group facilitation. Member of the Career Development Association of Australia.
MELISSA BANHAM
Endorsed Enrolled Nurse; Mental Health Certificate, Monash University.
Melisa Banham has been working in acute mental health inpatient services for the last 10 years. She has comprehensive experience across all units, particularly in mood disorders, eating disorders, addictions, and youth programs. She has been responsible for admissions, mental health assessments, psychosocial education, and crisis intervention. She works with the modality of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
VIRGINIA GREEN
Master of Social Work, Bachelor of Communications

Virginia Green is a highly skilled and accredited Mental Health Social Worker with extensive experience in counselling, particularly in rural settings. She specialises in drug and alcohol counselling, guiding clients through addiction recovery and relapse prevention, and has developed strong expertise in motivational interviewing. Virginia provides support to clients dealing with a variety of challenges, including stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, addiction, low motivation, and self-esteem issues.
She works collaboratively with clients to address a wide range of concerns and her primary aim is to empower her clients, equipping them with practical tools and strategies to create lasting, meaningful change in their lives.
RALPH KERSHLER
Bachelor of Theology, Diploma of Education

Ralph Kershler has forty years of ministry experience in the areas of pastoral care and wellbeing and is qualified in providing guided mindfulness for groups and individuals. He is a trained facilitator for the Seasons for Growth program, helping people suffering grief and/or separation due to death, suicide, ill health, natural causes, and family break-up. He has conducted funeral and memorial services and will be instrumental in supporting distress from critical incidences.
CHAD WHITE
Diploma of Community Services (Case Management), Diploma of Business Management
Chad is a proud Kamilaroi and Wiradjuri man who has been working in mental health, particularly suicide prevention, along with advocating for indigenous health for many years. He has provided counselling and case management for the last five years in rural mental health. He has delivered training in suicide prevention with leading agencies in this field and belongs to several reference groups advocating for health literacy, crisis, and suicide prevention in the area of indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and rural communities mental health.
DOUGLAS MILLER

Douglas Miller has over 35 years of experience in psychiatric nursing care. He is experienced in acute psychiatry, dual diagnoses and trauma, having worked in various settings. He has excellent risk assessment skills and is focussed on recovery and optimum living. He can assess and liaise with psychiatrists regarding medication requirements.
